Achievements
  1. Assistance in the formulation and implementation of national policies and regulations on information and technology and technical activities related to information and communication technology of various ministries / departments and agencies.
  2. Implementation, including recommendations of the National Task Force on Information and Communication Technology.
  3. To provide comprehensive support and grants to finance, carry out research and development activities and provide information and services to the concerned agencies / institutions, private information and communication technology companies / societies for research, development and dissemination in various sectors of information and communication technology and taking initiative to finance.
  4. Increase involvement with the initiatives of international and global organizations in various countries related to information and communication technology, and implement contract and cooperation activities in related fields.
  5. Supporting and coordinating the adoption of integrated work plans for e-governance, e-infrastructure, e-health, e-commerce etc. of various ministries / agencies.
  6. To make it accessible to the people through the commercialization of information and communication technology services, formulate the necessary policies and guidelines, create skilled manpower, increase public awareness and monitor implementation.
  7. To attract domestic and foreign investment in the ICT sector, to compete with local companies and to increase employment and exports through the development of all infrastructure including the establishment of software technology parks, hi-tech parks and ICT incubators.
  8. Confirmation and implementation of the legality and security provisions of electronic records related to information and communication technology, the identity of the recipient and sender, and the preservation of all data stores.
